Berlusconi Doing Well Following Surgery

ROME Former Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi is doing well two days after surgery to implant a heart pacemaker and will remain at the Cleveland Clinic in the U.S. for a couple more days, his surgeon said Wednesday.
"Everything went according to expectations and without any particular problem," Dr. Andrea Natale told Italy's RAI Tg1 TV news from Ohio.
Berlusconi, 70, was fitted Monday with a pacemaker. The clinic said he was expected to leave by the end of the week.
Last month, the media mogul who heads Italy's center-right opposition collapsed while giving a speech. His doctor blamed the collapse on a sharp drop in blood pressure.
